Tony Uchytil is the Director of Business Development – Upstream at Decca Energy, bringing more than a decade of experience across drilling, completions, production, directional drilling, technical sales, and energy consulting. A graduate of Texas Tech University and former NCAA Division I student athlete at the University of New Mexico, Tony built his career through field and leadership roles with industry leaders including Halliburton, Ulterra Drill Bits, Knight Energy Services, MS Directional, and Helmerich & Payne Drilling. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for both the Permian Basin Association of Directional Drilling (PBADD) and the American Association of Drilling Engineers (AADE) Permian Basin Chapter and has held leadership positions within several industry and nonprofit organizations. Having grown up in Indonesia, Russia, Mexico, Venezuela, and Canada, Tony brings a global perspective and strong relationship-building skills to helping operators solve complex workforce and operational challenges throughout North America. A Midland, Texas resident for nearly nine years, he enjoys golfing, hunting, and spending time with his son, Walker, and his Goldendoodle, Duke.
